Drew Carey Weight Loss Before And After

If someone would have told me, a year ago, that I would soon be creating a blog post called the Drew Carey weight loss story I would have told them they were crazy.  Yet, here I am, sharing with you the transformation of yet another major celebrity.

Did you know that, as of right now, there are 22,000 people per month looking for information regarding the Drew Carey weight loss story through Google?  I guess taking over as the host of The Price Is Right will get you that kind of notoriety.

It really wasn’t that long ago that I noticed the change in Drew.  I was actually jogging on the treadmill at Planet Fitness when the popular game show was being broadcast on one of the 20 plus TV screens there at PF.  I had to do a double take when I first saw him after the weight was gone because had I not known that he was the new host of The Price Is Right I wouldn’t have recognized him.

The thing that intrigues me about these celebrity weight loss stories, to be totally honest with you, is more in regard to the amount of people who are attracted to these stories than it is the actual stories themselves.  I’m happy for all of the celebrities who have lost the weight but my heart goes out to the people who are looking to these stories for motivation and inspiration.

Now I’m not a gambling man, per se’, but I’d bet my right arm that the number of people who are looking to these stories for inspiration are in the high 80 percentile.  I’m basing this, primarily, on the the amount of demand for information on weight loss in general.

Weight loss is one of the most searched subjects on the Internet.  If you were to ask 10 people who are overweight, and currently doing nothing to change their situation, if they were happy with the appearance of their body, 8 of those 10 people would tell you no, they are not happy.  This is why they are looking to the Internet for answers and inspiration.

My question, then, to anyone who is not happy being over weight “when is the right time to do something about it?”  I’ve asked this very question of other people I know who are sharing in the same struggle and the majority of them usually same something along the lines of “tomorrow”, “next week” or “at the first of the month.”

Why are they putting it off?  Because they are addicted to food.  That’s not me being harsh, that’s a former food addict being honest.  I’ve been there, I’ve been asked that question and I’ve said those same things.  I’ve started and quit more diets and attempts to lose weight than Jay Leno has cars.

People have asked “so what’s the secret?” Each time you fail or get knocked down you get up and start again. You focus your mind on the way you want to look and feel and then you make the changes necessary to bring that about. You get in touch with the skinny you, inside of you, and do the things that call him or her out. You get active (walk, jog, run, lift weights, exercise), you sweat, you change the foods your are eating and the quantity you are eating.

It boils down to making a decision to change and then do whatever is necessary to make that change.

The Drew Carey weight loss story is amazing, and congratulations to Drew, but his story won’t change your life. It’s time to create your own story of success! When you make the decision to find your true inspiration, inside of you, that’s when you’ll really start to see a difference.
