So tonight, while teaching a class on keyword research for weight loss, we discovered the Dukan Diet. Up until about 10 minutes ago I had never heard of the Dukan Diet. As I type this blog post I still don’t know anything about the Dukan Diet.
Here’s what I do know about most diets, including the Dukan Diet. If you are not willing to make the lifestyle change required to lose excessive weight then the diet you choose, 99% of the time, will not work.
What most people who are embarking on a weight loss journey fail to recognize is that weight loss starts in the mind. It doesn’t start with fitness and exercise. It doesn’t start with cutting calories. It starts by using creative thought to recreate you.
In the re-recreation of you it’s important to understand that there will be a period of “letting go and letting God” just like there is in overcoming any addiction. If you are severely overweight then you are addicted to food. I say that from a place of experience, personally, as well as from the confessions of those who I have talked to who have made the change in their life.
In the few minutes we invested to find the Dukan Diet, this evening, we found that music artist Brianna, and even Dr. Oz, are on board with the Dukan Diet. This does not mean that it’s the right diet for you. That being said, I have a lot of respect for Dr. Oz and if he is willing to put his name on it then it’s probably worth taking a look to see if it is the right transformational formula for you. And if you look at the picture above it’s obvious that the Dukan Diet is working for Brianna.
You can learn more about the Dukan Diet by simply Googling “Dukan Diet” but in regards to transforming your body I can only speak from experience when I say that carrying heavy burdens of emotion like stress, worry and anxiety make up for more of your excess body weight then what you might think. Thoughts become things. Cause and effect are mathematically certain.
The best advice I can give to anyone who is looking to lose weight and reshape their life is to let go of the past, forgive others, forgive YOURSELF and start with a clean, creative mind. This will assist you in preparing for the mental strength required to do the exercise and change your eating habits.
