Jonah Hill Weight Loss Before And After

The Jonah Hill weight loss story is one of intrigue for me. There are several things going on with Jonah Hill, right now, that I was not aware of. I guess you just never know WHY someone will make the decision to lose weight and get in shape but I suppose your job is as good a reason as anything else. It turns out that the Jonah Hill weight loss story is built on the fact that he lost the weight for a new role in the upcoming movie adaptation of the TV show 21 Jump Street.

It looks as though Jonah has dropped more than 20 pounds for the new role. Once again we find the same constant with the Jonah Hill weight loss story that we find with most other celebrity weight loss stories… he worked it off. According to the L.A. Times, Jonah said “I wouldn’t say it’s the most fun endeavor I’ve ever took on in my life — but it’s important. And I’m enjoying it. If I eat something unhealthy now, I kind of feel a little weird and my body hurts.”

So what can we learn from the Jonah Hill weight loss story. For starters, we can take from it the fact that our reason why we make a decision to lose weight could be for a variety of reasons. At the forefront of our decision, however, I absolutely believe if that we are looking to make a lifestyle change that our weight loss journey consists of as much mental fitness as it does physical fitness.

There’s a very good chance that you are reading this blog post today and are here because you are also gearing up to make a lifestyle change.  There’s a very good chance you are a fan of Jonah Hill and are looking for motivation and inspiration.  I believe stories are a great way to find that initial spark of motivation that drives us to make a decision, but the stories alone are not enough to fuel the fire it will take to embark upon our weight loss journey and reach our target weight and mental ideal of what the body should look like based on our perception.  To do that it requires a deep evaluation of who we are and why we are carrying the extra weight in the first place.

I just started a new book called A Course In Weight Loss my Marianne Willamson.  I’m only one lesson in and I’ve already seen why I have hit the plateau at 235 pounds and why eating right and exercise are not enough to get me where I want to be.  The mental weight that we carry to include worry, stress, fear, anxiety, unforgiveness, self-hatred, and so forth all contribute to our body weight.  What I’m learning is that the weight loss plateau is just as much spiritual as it is physical.

Jonah Hill Weight Loss Before And After

In lesson one I was faced with confronting feelings and emotions that I was still carrying with me that are adding to my body weight.  Words like shame, guilt, resentment (just to name a few) began to pop up in my mind as I focused inward and made the choice to get very honest with myself.  What I found what that, even though I’ve made a lot of progress in personal development, was that there are still things I’m holding on to that need to be let go.  To surrender the burdens is to let go of that emotional weight that is showing up on our body.  The Master Key System teaches that “thought, therefore, is the cause and the things with which we meet in life are the effect.”  If thoughts of anger and resentment are causing me to gain weight emotionally then where do you suppose the weight is going to reveal itself on the effectual level?  You guessed it, right there on the same body you are trying so diligently to recreate.

I’ll be blogging my way through A Course In Weight Loss so feel free to follow along.  The book is available through Amazon and I highly recommend that if you are serious losing weight and keeping it off that you consider embarking on this journey through A Course In Weight Loss as well.

Cheers!

I just saw Jonah on Conan last night and he said “I went to sleep and woke up skinny.” I don’t think that is him doing it the old fashioned way.

Jonah Hill’s weight loss is bs. Nobody who works that hard to lose that kind of weight is going to say that “It wasn’t the most fun endeavor I’ve taken in my life….but it’s important.” Someone working that hard to lose that weight is going to be super excited about it. His confidence, new persona looks to be super fake and that he’s not very well equipped to handle his newfound fame. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see an eventual drug OD or suicide.

I totally agree with you Craig. When i was on track, i was very happy and excited.. It looks to me like he had some kind of surgery, because he’s huge one minute and skinny outta no where!! So wtf??
