I was on my way out the door for my morning workout, a few days ago, when I noticed the Tracy Anderson Metamorphosis on TV. I’m always on the lookout for simple, trending topics to blog about so I figured Tracy Anderson was as good as any, especially when I plugged her name into my keyword tool and looked at the numbers. At present there are more than 60,500 searches per month, through Google alone, for Tracy Anderson. That’s traffic worth plugging into.

So, if I’m not going to write about the Tracy Anderson Metamorphosis, per se, then what’s the point of this post? Great question! As always, there’s a method to my madness…

I speak with people, all the time, who are working to lose weight. With every person I talk to there is ALWAYS 1 factor that they have in common… they want to lose the weight and they want to lose it RIGHT NOW! They don’t want to wait. They want to know the fastest way to get it off and be done with it.
As someone who has lost more than 100 pounds during my transformation I can certainly relate. Once you have decided that it’s time for the weight to go you want it gone. Unfortunately it doesn’t work like. Whether you choose the Tracy Anderson Method, Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig or one of the THOUSANDS of weight loss programs that have been developed to help you lose weight, the bottom line is that it doesn’t come off over night. It took time to put it so it’s going to take some time to remove it.

Removing it is not as difficult as most people think. Yes, it requires some effort but you don’t have to feel like your killing yourself to lose weight. Take into consideration that many of these programs are better suited for people who are already on the path of weight loss and transformation. They are already getting into shape, to a certain extent. There are many programs that ARE NOT or HAVE NOT been created for someone who is starting a weight loss journey.
Case in point… I was still over 280 pounds when I started Shaun T’s Insanity. That was insane! Nonetheless, I stuck with it, but I paid the price with shoulder injury. While Shaun T’s Insanity was created to transform certain bodies in 90 days it certainly was created to transform mine, where I was at, at that time. Not Shaun T’s fault… that was my mistake. Be smart before starting the the Tracy Anderson Method or any program for that matter.
If you have found this blog post and are out of shape and not certain where to start I do not advise that you go try and run three miles to start things off. That might SEEM like the way to go but you could SERIOUSLY hurt yourself. Keep it simple and smart. If you have been doing NOTHING and you decide to decrease calories by 500 per day and start walking even 15 minutes per day then you’re body weight is going to decrease.
For the right person I’m sure the Tracy Anderson Method is the right method. Based on what I have seen, both on the videos and in the results people have achieved, I’m sure it will work. But, so will incorporating some healthy, lower calorie choices into your diet and basic exercise. Start where you are and increase as your body gains strength.
